LoreOne, The World’s Fastest Cycling Shoe- Press Release: Embargo 12.00 noon, GMT, 19th October 2022.

Is Ready For Liftoff

New York, New York (October 19, 2022) – Firsts don’t come easy. After two and a half years of intensive development, LoreOne, the world’s fastest cycling shoe, is ready for liftoff. Designed to blur the line between body, spirit and bicycle, the LoreOne produces power and efficiency with each pedal stroke through revolutionary bio-mechanical fit.

With the release of its newest design, Lore will begin to take additional orders and is slated to enter production in November. To reach this point, LORE invented new categories, processes and products, all in the pursuit of raw speed.
“It is a bold thing to say, ‘the world’s fastest cycling shoe,’ and many may initially dismiss it as marketing hype,” said Stephan Drake, Founder & CEO, LORE. “But as this journey to production progressed, it became increasingly evident that the performance gains the LoreOne exhibits over conventional shoes are too big to deny.”

DESIGN

To reach production readiness, the LoreOne underwent a list of ‘firsts,’ inventing new categories, processes and products. This includes developing the scan-to-print footwear technology, which can morph design to any foot shape and size; 3D printing with continuous carbon fiber to produce a lightweight, stiff monocoque frame comprised of complex organic shapes without the use of a mold; and the invention of the dorsal

orthotic, which aligns the foot from the topside – eliminating the need for supportive footbeds or orthotics.

POWER

By minimizing ‘dead spots’ within the traditional pedal stroke at 6 and 12 o’clock, the shoe increases overall power output. With traditional cycling shoe designs, the soft upper bleeds energy on the dorsal (topside) of the foot. LoreOne’s patent pending custom CarbonAirFrame is designed to capture dorsal rotational energy to activate power through-put in the ‘dead zones.

“The LORE project is three massive steps forward from any other shoe on the market. Prepare to have your head explode while your feet feel true power transfer for the first time ever,” said Colby Pearce, former Olympic Cyclist. “The technology used in the design and manufacturing is light years ahead of everything else. The way the athlete works with the shoe is groundbreaking, and the foothold is unparalleled. The LoreOne
shoe will change the way you interact with your bike, forever.”

SUSTAINABILITY

With additive manufacturing, LORE transcends traditional production models, supply chain and use of materials, focusing on a final product that precisely uses the materials needed – and nothing more. The shoes are printed in California and employ carbon neutral shipping to bring the product to your door. Scan. Print. Ride.
